Shirley runs a boutique clinic which offers specialist services in two areas:

• Permanent Cosmetic Makeup - Eyeliner and eyebrow enhancement using well perfected cosmetic tattooing.

• Reconstructive Micro Pigmentation - which recreates nipples and areola after reconstructive breast surgery.

Shirley does referral work for the Canterbury District Health Board, Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Unit.

In October 2007 Shirley spent two weeks in Alaska with Liza Sims, one the leading permanent makeup specialists in the world, to further her experience and keep up to date with the latest techniques in cosmetic tattooing.
